Why I Chose UCI/CHOC: I wanted to train for residency closer to home after being away for medical school and I was drawn to the idea of working at two free standing children's hospitals. I liked the idea of learning at both academic and community based settings to be exposed to ample opportunities and gain awareness of different ways to practice medicine. Super big bonus that we get to do it all with amazing mentors and being 10 minutes from the beach!

Hobbies: Cooking, drawing, painting, and watching a little too much reality TV

Fun Facts: I used to be a preschool teacher before going into medicine, and its what drew me into Pediatrics!
